Stress and Resilience
We need stress to survive!
It is what makes us get up in the morning. Stress is a burst of energy that advises us of what to do.
It is motivating, it helps us meet daily challenges, reach our goals, accomplish tasks more efficiently and even boosts our memory.
When we don’t use this energy in a useful way – stress gets out of kilter and it can be catastrophic. We can’t concentrate, get sick, ache, feel lethargic, can’t sleep, our appetite changes and we may feel angry or anxious.
It is always going to be here but if we can recognise the affects that too much stress has on us, we can begin to make changes for the better.
This recent webinar/video will explain a little more about how building resilience can help reduce stress.
